adding bits to your MINI one

Has anyone added any other bits to there MINI one?. I'am think of getting the chrome handle, chrome grille and steel mesh for the bottom of the bumper.

If I did fit these would I have to tell my insurance company(one for you smiffy).

Cheers

I think a few guys have got the boot handle at least, the grille is doable, and I think you will have to tell your insurance company as its a mod after its left the factory !!

Ive put on the chrome boot handle and grille, number plate surrounds.White side repeaters.Going on soon chrome wing mirrors and windscreen wipers.

I prefer the black mesh on the one rather than the stainless steel.

Nothing beats a Mini

Order them!!

I have ordered today, the chrome boot handle and the steel mesh for the bottom of the bumper. I will think of getting the chrome grille in the future as it maybe a bit of a job to do(the bottom part of the grille).

The chrome handle and steel mesh only come to £45 inc vat , Job for the weekend then

Cheers

Chrome boot handle takes half an hour to fit, the only problem is to remove the inner plastic trim of the boot, that is hold by a few screws but thousands of clips

Just fitted the chrome trunk grip it took me only 15 mins, with a time like that I should be an F1 pit crew
Its simple to fit.
1. remove 4 screws from the original black trunk grip
2. Lift open boot & remove screws from the inner boot lining.
3. Gently pull on the plastic boot lining until it is forced ou of the clips (it should now come off in your hand)
4. Unclip the socket thingy for the number plate light.
5. Close boot and put chrome grip in place and feed the boot light clip thingy through the hole, then open boot
6. Reconnect the electrical clip thing, then close boot.
7. Screw chrome boot release in place
8. Open the boot & place boot lining back in place with a little force.
9. Screw boot lining back in place
10. Check the number plate lights are now working
11. Stand back & admire

Sorry for all the technical terms

piccies of finished result to follow
