Question What colour??

I am going to price a mini one today after work! I'm 99% certain I'll be getting one but I want to ask what colour should I go for?

I'm tempted between the metallic black, blue or silver - at the minute I'm edging towards silver!

Any advice on what to ask the sales guy about would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Gavin

Only you can make that decision! Personally I reckon the Blue would be a good choice but also having seen Smiffy's One in silver, I recommend that colour as well

the MINI has gone...

The One looks great in silver methinks. Most Ones I see are black. It seems to me as if the most common One colour is black while the most common Cooper is Red (usually with a black roof). Haven't seen many, if any blue ones though, so that could be cool to go for if wanting to be different.

IMO Silver looks great, blue is good too, but black is just too popular on ones.
Have you considered red? that looks good too on a one.
Be warned, you'll change your mind several times while in the dealership

I think the reason ppl go for Black is because of the black grill, rear insert and arches, it seems to neaten things off abit. I do agree tho that the Blue is really nice. Not keen on the yellow tho! Bit noddy car....sorry! just my opinion.

Yellow is a definite Cooper colour, wouldn't look good on a ONE methinks.

Thanks spanky! I agree great on the cooper naff on the one! Whatever colour u get, fork out £70 for the chrome. Its just without it the car seems to lose its character.

Chrome is best shown off in real life. When you go to ur dealers have a look at a One with it and look at a Cooper (or a One with it) too. The chrome looks *much* better. I know someone with a black one without the chrome and it looks... boring.... too normal-car-ish. Definitely worth the £70.

After driving a Red ONE as a courtesy car, I'd say the best colours are probably silver and black... but then, I've only seen red, silver and black! I definitely like Smiffy's Silver ONE, whilst DShelton's looks the mutts nuts as well - although that might have something to do with his stripes!

Must agree with that.
My One is also Indi Blue and had a lot of very positive feedback on it. The general consensus was that Indi Blue is a very nice Blue (dark metallic) and gives the car a classy but 'naughty' look.

Black and grey were to 'common'. A great part of the cars over here are grey metallic. And if there is a car that deserves a special look, it must be the MINI.

Just telling you what I've heard from other people...

My One is black - chosen to keep costs to a minimum, I'm afraid. Also, as someone said before - it doesn't show up the black plastic bootlid and grill as being....black plastic...just looks body coloured. However - it is a total pain to keep clean and I would strongly recommend you only choose it if you don't cover a high mileage or you love washing your car by hand every few days. It looks great when it is clean though.
I saw a silver ONE at the dealers the other day with alloys and an all red interior and it looked fantastic. I would probably chose silver next time or gold if it ever comes out.

Thanks for all the comments guys on my MINI motor
Any MINI tends to look good in any colour, but SILVER tends to show the lines of the car
Just make sure you get the chrome inserts, chrome boot release & clear side lights

Silver is THE colour! Follow the link if you don't believe me!

Seriously it is a personal choice and Smiffy is right, the MINI is great in whatever colour you choose.
