K&N typhoon induction kit ordered...

Just seeing what you lot thought or think....im hoping it will sound nice and also help a bit with fuel econamy.

Not sure about the latter...will it actually improve it..or worsen it?

Also does anyone else think of this investment? worthwhile?

I've got this on my ONE. It's great Absolutely brilliant Brings a really nice growl to your engine.
Haven't really noticed a huge difference in fuel to be honest

Go for it Matty, you won't regret it

Oh, and mines the polished chrome one too

Personally (and I mean personally) the only induction kit I'd go for is the Pipercross Viper or something similar that is enclosed in a heat shield. Whilst the Typhoon (and similar) kits look and sound good, I believe they do little for performance as they suck in hotter air than the standard intake. Interestingly, I've read a lot of posts where people think their MINI is a little faster, but have later found when going back to the standard intake that it was just psychological due to the added noise!

That said, many people have the K&N and are pleased with it, so my personal feelings aside, I'm sure you'll love it!
