clear indicators

I noticed in the dealers accessories catelogue that they have clear indicators available at a cost of 21 quid! Looking at various pictures etc, i have noticed they look identical to the vaxhaul corsa indicators, which you can pic up for about 7 quid!!

Does anyone know if they are exactly the same?

RESPECT THE MINI!!

Very unlikely.

The MINI ones just fit straight on, the Vauxhall ones would require a bodge.

I'd pay the £21 if I were you, save time and effort and bodging a decent car!

the MINI has gone...

The indicators are nearly the same but they have a different connection and they are and tiny bit larger on the corsa.

Buy the proper mini one's IMO, they're better quality than the corsa one's.

You can get them for about £15 from your dealer if you say you want to fit them yourself. They take less than a minute to fit.

Quite scary actually because someone could just walk past your car and whip them off it in a jiffy.

They would only be of use to other MINI drivers I think. And I don't think MINIs have reached the "thieving gits" market yet........

I hate theving scum. They should all have their little fingers chopped off so we know who they are. A bit drastic but, they really p*^* me off.

Try MiniSpares, they are due to get them in soon. I expect they will be cheaper, but still good quality.

Talking Sprog...

Sprog,

Call 0845 606 1888 (BMW UK parts Direct), for all spare parts or enquiries. Very helpful team, I bought my clear indicator lenses from them. Just call them up and they can get whatever you want (providing they have sufficient stock) to your dealer the next day.

Simple.

I paid £9, they take 2 mins to fit, there is a fitting guide on the forum...somewhere!

ALex.

Black and White Cooper here, soon to be an Electric Blue & White S, with the WORKS!!

Yes I have them fitted to mine along with the clear rear light kit. These parts are not cheap but are top quality.
