Jetex twin centre exit exhaust

Hi there,

I am thinking about having the Jetex centre exit exhaust fitted to my ONE, and was wondering if anyone knew much about them?

http://jetex.co.uk/Jetexwebsite/laser/cliocup_mini.htm

Are they a decent make or just some cheap crap?

Will it fit my car, or will I have to make modifications (I already have a bumper trim from a cooper s)

How much will it cost to fit roughly?

I think that the exhaust will cost about £240 supplied and delivered, is this a fair price for an exhaust?

I really have not got the first clue about exhausts, and so need a bit of guidance, I want a centre exit one, and this seems to be the best priced one I can find.

Are there any alternatives? I have seen that some people have the duplex exit (Left and right), but do not think that this will suit my car.

Thanks in advance

JP

thats a nice looking exhaust and a reasonable price but you cmusn't by an exhaust by it's looks.

before you buy you should look at the power gain you will get from it and it's rivals like mongoose, scorpion and longlife who do custom made exhausts with a lifetime guarantee the right exhaust set up can add upto 15bhp to a mini possibly a bit more

hope this helps a bit

Yh thanks, that seems pretty good advice.

At the moment, I am not overly interested in getting better performance, but later on in the year, I most probably will be.

If anyone has had any experience with these systems and wants to shed some light on them, then it would be very useful

Cheers

To be honest I would find this highly unlikely that an exhaust like the Laser will add up to 15bhp, it will give you a small increase 4-5bhp but not much more

From what I have heard from other Laser Customers not particularly the Mini, the general consensus seems to be that this is an excellent product and extremely good value for money, I am actually considering the duel exit system during the summer

That's what I am gathering from my research, people are saying that they are actually good quality exhausts and not a cheap nasty bit of scrap.

I am so tempted, will let you know how I get on if I do get it.

I just got an email from Jetex/Laser and they say that they can have it supplied and delivered for £236.95, this seems like a good price, and I think that I am going to go for it. Does anyone know how much it would cost me, roughly, to have it fitted. I would also have my cooper s rear bumper fitted on the same day, and may get a family friend to fit it all.

Cheers
