Offline | Hi all, Good news for a first post! We've just recieved our new astro black MINI one! Its my mums, but as ill be 17 in january, ill be learning to drive in it and hopefully have it as my first car! Cant stop nipping out to the garage and playing with all the various gizmos, in particular, the lovely sony CD unit, which we upgraded to. Its got the chrome line exterior, pepper pack, the stadard 5 spoke wheels, sports seats etc. The first thing im going to do is upgrade to the 2 spotlights at the front, as we've already got the front and rear fogs. overall we're very happy!!! got it from dmaon hill mini in warwick, they couldnt have been more helpful, and we got a lovely bouquet of flowers with the car - pleased my mum, but it wasnt a manly thing [/macho mode]Pic attached, hope you all like it! Offline | We got our mini from Damon Hill in warwick, and I think you also get a choice with BMW's, when we bought our old BMW from there, it was Alan Kerr (when it was BMW only), but they bought me a Z3 model and my sister a BMW Teddy as thanks. I think its just Damon Hill that does this, but mum says it looks an expensive bouquet, i'm only interested in the mini!!!!James |

Offline | Had the option of a bouquet of flowers from Menzies MINI. Didn't want them as after 2 weeks they'd be in the bin. Asked for a model of the MCS instead. Nice model too. morrisminiminor |

Offline | Astro is a lovely colour - polishes up really nice in the sun. Well done for getting the exterior chrome trim - it does make a difference. I've been to the Damon Hill dealer just south of Leamington - is this the same one or different? ![]() |

Offline | Hi, thanks for the comments, My Mum loves driving it, (so do I) and I love washing/polishing it! We've got a long drive, so when we've been somewhere, i'll hop in the drivers seat, and tootle off to the house - practice makes perfect! I cant wait to pass me test, next january I'll be able to take the theory, so im looking throught the highway code already Cheers for the thoughts, going to get some superleggeras, clear indicators on the side and the back and a silver union jack roof when its mine! Oh, and a set of 2 driving lamps ![]() James |
