Clear rear lights - what about the reflectors?

I've been well busy since I had the clear light kit fitted to my One two weeks ago and just got round to posting. How do you get away without red reflectors - are they legal? I'm imagining that I'll have problems when it comes round to MOT time in three years time, but I'm loathed to drill holes in my bodywork to fit extra reflectors!
Has anyone got any solutions?

I've also seen in the current price list that clear bulbs are available for the directional indicators. I'm keen to fit them as every other indicator on the car is clear - they're also a bargain £10 - any ideas how easy they are to fit?

I think little stick on reflectors would solve the problem, thinking of sticking them to my mudfaps , or the plastic trim at the rear or the car, but do the rules of the road, or EU legislation stipulate a minimum height the reflectors have to be mounted at??

Anyone got any idea??

surely having to put red reflectors (required by law)on the rear defeats the whole object of the exercise?

Perhaps someone could explain this to me

Yes it would be good to see a pic, I shall be well p*ssed off if i've got an old set!

As far as the directional bulbs are concerned, I saw them in a new price guide that I picked up from the S launch.
