Offline | I see it more as buying into the Mini Pirate brand - as you might buy a key ring with your football team or pop group on it. Not sure how much advertising Phil would get from a key ring , but I guess its worth a go ![]() |

Online | As long as nobody thinks I could possibly have the slightest interest in football, pop music or advertising any brands of anything! ![]() (My car is de-badged as far as practicable and as Adidas, Nike, Cotton Traders, etc. have never offered to advertise me or my business I don't advertise them by wearing anything with a brand logo.) Offline | !!!!! OK just to clear up any missunderstanding with our Keyring. This is an item we thought about selling as our Mini Pirate brand is to be growing worldwide. Customers ask us to produce items like this, we are working on some tee shirts right now so again these will be offered and if you like what you see then they are available to buy. If you don't like them then you don't buy them !!! So wether £3 or £4 seems a lot to waste on a little trinket then we'll see on how many we sell - we are not asking people to pay to advertise our wares - we pay enough through mainstream advertising for that !!! David - thanks for your comments, if you this is not for you then fine - its simple you don't buy one. But if you had a set of Viper stripes fitted by me then I would give you a keyring free like we do a window sticker so its your choice to throw it in the bin or put it on your keys ! |

Online | Phil: Promotional gifts work best if they are so desirable that people actually want them for what they are and the advertising message is only incidental. A quick Google found this: Promotional Keyrings – Perugia Key Ring with Torch – Eureka Promotional Gifts, which nobody would want to throw away, even though you could buy them in quantity for around £1.00 including printing, and thus afford to give away at runs and shows and include in mailshots to customers and potential ones. I might even buy one! ![]() David |

Offline | hi David - it seems from comments we have had so far on all the forums we sponsor that our key ring is VERY desirable and people are willing to buy one. So as a promo item with an incidental advertising message - they work just fine and people WANT THEM !! Personally the torch keyring is no use for us as our customers want a 'trinket' or a little piece of our brand to own, not a torch. I would now like to get this thread back on track to what it is intended for and that's 'guage interest' to who may like one of these items and not discuss the if, buts or maybes of liking it or not - as if someone doesn't like it then no problem they don't order one. |
