Mini Pirate ... Updated Developments

Its with great regret and a very very heavy heart that I have to announce that Mini Pirate Ltd will cease trading at the end of January 2009.

There are many reasons why we have to take this course of action, much to do with the banks NOT helping us when we need it most - we never have a problem in finding customers or work in fact I have too many customers at the moment but we can not continue in the current economic climate.

I wont bore you all with the details though.

I would just like to say on the record what a fantastic forum MINI2.com is and it has given me great pleasure since I joined in Dec 2001 with my Indie Blue and White Cooper - a great way to make new friends. I have indeed learnt a great deal on here through the years.

A big thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone of you on m2 (even if you weren't a customer) for your loyal support when other companies have been pinching my designs and work (they know who they are) for you to stay loyal to the Mini Pirate brand - THANK YOU ALL

I will shortly be taking our on-line shop down as we need to (stupidly) stop new orders coming in as we wont be in a position to honour these requests.

All those customers whom have placed an order recently will receive their order - most have been shipped already and those customers whom have sent us an email or PM I will contact you in the next few days.

We also have a few items in the studio which I will post a listing - all at a greatly reduced price.

I will still be on M2 as a 'normal' punter so I'm not disappearing totally and so will be on hand to answer any technical questions regarding decals.

It just leaves me to thank you all again for all the support and friends we have made along the way.

Not quite sure of what to say to this other than thank you so much for all the help you have given me personally. Also for the tower of advice you have given Mini2 members and your endless enthusiasm for all things Mini.

You are really going to be missed.

Very sorry to hear this Phil. I never got the chance to come and see Mini Pirate in action, but those who have said it was something special. It now makes my MINI2.COM decals all the more special, and will always wear them with pride.
