Offline | M2CB 2005 Open Letter of Thanks from John Feltham - Head Woodlands School Here's a cut n paste of John's letter of thanks - special mention to Mini-Trainer (Rams) for his very thoughtful donation - the blinged MINI which he successfully bid for at the auction but didn't accept ![]() Dear Mini2 Members, I feel as if I should start this message by apologising for its lateness – a bit like being late with your homework really. I wanted to write to express my appreciation for all of your hard work in organising such a splendid but enjoyable event and also for your generosity in giving so freely to the two named organisations. I was shocked and very pleasantly surprised when Sham informed me of just how much you had raised as a group of people. The funds will be very well used at Woodlands and we are progressing with our application for a specialist bus to allow us to take our pupils in to the community. I have reflected not only upon the generosity of spirit displayed at your gala evening but also the ‘power of good’ that a group of people have when they come together with a shared vision. It is certainly an apparent strength of the Mini2 organisation. I have to say a special thanks to Sham for being not only industrious in his organisational skills but also his patience in trying to pin me down via many phone calls and e-mails. I understand that Bob and Dora were key players in the inception and development of the evening and I would like to also offer them my gratitude on behalf of the pupils and staff of Woodlands School. We have a new display cabinet in our school which, after speaking to Sham, now has a reserved parking space for a special mini which was donated for the school by Rams Strelczenie. It will take pride of place in our entrance and I am told that a mini photo opportunity is in the offing so watch this space for pictures. Thank you once again John Feltham Woodlands School ps please feel free to contact us – my e-mail address is felthamj@woodlands.harrow.sch.uk 170508 ![]() |

Offline | Excellent news about the bus Spot on that man, Nice 1 Sham, I'm glad they put it on display. It is of very important significance that we all donated through the love of the car, for them it's a reminder not just getting the Mini-Bus which they so badly needed, but where the money actually came from. I didn't really expect a mention, but there you have it, I've written an Email to John personally to thank him for such kind words. Less is more!! Is it possible to get a photo? Rams |

Offline | Still a bit of a way to go on the funds for the bus but every little helps as Tesco say . I am planning on going next month to do a formal presentation of the cheque and MINI to John and we are hoping to get a photo in the local paper courtesy of Simon James, another MINI2'er who has offered to help on the PR side. Full details will be posted ![]() 170508 ![]() |

| Cloud 9 | Thanks Simon for coming and taking the pics, don't worry about my car, the kids were well behaved Woodlands is indeed a fantastic school as mentioned by Simon Thanks to John Feltham, the headmaster for taking time from his daily duties, and taking us on a tour around the school. The new facilities of the school was excellent and you can see the kids benefiting from the new surrounding. All the kids and teachers were friendly and it was a joy to see them outside in the nice weather. Well Done to everyone who have helped raise money for a new minibus for the school. I am sure it will help the kids mobility greatly ![]() |
