The hotel is set in fantastic grounds and includes a challenging golf course which is available to residents at reduced green fees – you do not have to hold a handicap to play so hackers feel free to join in!!

The location is ideally suited for International attendees with Manchester Airport only a short distance away. Manchester itself is only a short drive away too as is the fantastic scenery and towns of the Peaks.

Ticket Price

The cost of the Ball ticket will be £40. As we have to commit in advance to the hotel on numbers we are unable to offer refunds after 14th January.

This will include the cost of all the evening’s entertainment and your meal but exclude your drinks bill and accommodation.

Want a bulk buy? Well if you book a table of 10 you can get a free place. Sound good? Well it is and it's really simple to get it, send in your cheque for £400 and the names of the 11 people you want seated at that table and you're sorted.

Foreign Currency Payments

Stephen can now take foreign payments through PayPal. Please send Stephen_cy_wong a PM or email detailing the currency you wish to pay in, the number of tickets you require and your email address. Stephen will then issue an invoice to you for collection through PayPal, the value calculated at the prevalent exchange rate at the time of payment.


Hotel Booking

The hotel room is £100 for a double B&B, £75 for a single, which is a massive discount of nearly 40% from their standard prices. You can book a room NOW using a credit card to secure the room, which can be cancelled up until 2.00pm the day prior to the Ball without incurring any charges .

Call +44 1625 575757 and ask for a room from MINI2 Charity Ball allocation, we currently have 100 rooms block booked but again these may be released at the hotel's discretion so book quickly!!

You can also fax your reservation to +44 1625 573323 which may be better for overseas visitors with time differences etc.

If you want to stay more than one night then a further reduction in price is available making it £90 for a double B&B, £65 for a single, per night. There are also some executive rooms available at an extra charge.

The Format

This will be an exclusive event with a Welcome Drinks reception sponsored by MINI UK followed by an excellent sit down dinner. There will be a disco until 2.00am and extended function bar licence until 1.30am. The main hotel bar will of course remain open to all residents on a 24 hour basis and will provide sandwiches in the small hours!!

Dress will be formal black tie.

There will be some fund raising activity during the evening including a charity auction and raffle.

You may also bring friends along even if they are not MINI2ers or into MINI as such, the evening will be generic enough that they will enjoy themselves as much as anyone else.

A MINI Run

There will be a run on the Saturday taking in some superb roads around the Peaks,and returning you in time to get scrubed up for the big night itself. Thanks to Karl (KPKALLE) & Chris (Mad Brummie) for organising this at late notice
