    Hi - I hope you were able to fix your key. Sorry for the late response. My problem was not the battery. The problem was on the circuit board where the unlock button is, there was a metal tab broken off so it was not making contact. I soldered it and fixed it. Your problem may be in the key - not programmed or the receiver which I believe is located inthe headliner by the rear view mirror. Best wishes, Jon

    I have an 02 Mini that has just hadf its battery [ key ] changed as it appeared to not work,. now it won't start, lock / unlock etc.any ideas?
