Offline | In the process of winning over my wife with the idea of a Cooper, I went to our dealer with our baby car seat and stroller to prove it could fit. Attached are the pictures which proved that it is possible and realistic. Not that I'll be hawling around our baby very much (got a Volvo S80 for that.) But if the need arises. FYI - they are an Evenflo infant carrier (just sitting in the back seat) and the Evenflo featherlite stroller.) Hope this helps some other "Dad's" out there. Enjoy, Scott I hate to drive! But I LOVE to MOTOR! ___________________ 2003 Mini Cooper PS/ Black Roof, Red Int. Bonnet Stripes, Red Int., CVT, SAT NAV, Performance Pack., Sport Pack. On order. Expecting October 2002 |

| MINI2 Senior Derelict | Isn't that particular infant carrier rear-facing only? Have you simply placed it in the back to show it fits or is it actually strapped down? While I still think it will fit when setup rear facing, it's not like the front passenger seat would be usable. Rear facing seats always take up WAAAAY more room than a rgular forward facing seat. Offline | Actually I think you are correct, that it is rear facing. But my wife is only 5ft tall so, she'll still have enough room in the passenger seat. And yes, it's just sitting in there. By the time my Mini shows up, my baby will probably be in the forward facing seats. (She might even be in college by then :-) -Scott I hate to drive! | MINI2 Senior Derelict | Ya, I hear ya. I've got two kids one in forward seat and one rear facing. I can't wait until the 6 month old is in a forward facing seat that way we'll all fit in the Mini. Mine's coming in September don't think the 6 month old will have enough weight by then for a foward facing seat. Cheers, Paul |

Offline | Now if someone can just show my wife how to fit a newborn and 3 year old along with all the things that they take to child care along with two teachers things that we take back and forth to school into my MCS then I'll be able to drive it to school each day. ..... looks like will be using the MINIvan most of the time.
