White Cooper Maxi-Cosi Car Seats from 9mths to 4 yrs

Hi

I'm new to MINI2 and the forum, so hope I'm doing this ok! I am looking for a car seat that fits the back of my Mini Cooper (2005 model) and am particularly interested to know if anyone has managed to fit the Maxi-Cosi Tobi or Priori XP in theirs? The Maxi-Cosi car fitting list doesn't help - it just says "unknown"! Please could you post pics of the car seats fitted in your mini if possible, so I can get an idea of how they look.

Thanks

tobi fits perfectly....xp you need to put your knee into it to get a good fit (i find mine a bit of a fiddle at first but once you get the hang of it its ok).

I have the Tobi in mine, fits really well and a great seat, worth the extra pennies as it's one of the more expensive ones! A lot of people have the XP but Halfords were not happy with the fit in mine. Very happy with the Tobi.

Thanks for your help - much appreciated. The pictures really help on making the decision too and the children look comfortable. I'm really happy now - it just seems like every time you go into shops to discuss seats fitting in the mini, the staff just dismiss it as though it's an impossible task and tell you to look at the car fitting list on the Maxi-Cosi web site which doesn't provide any further information either!

Thanks guys

Glad we could help! Which seat have you decided to go for then? Pity the shops haven't been too helpful!

Have just ordered the Tobi seat! Once I made the decision the next problem was picking the colour!! I've now settled on the 'cappuccino reflection' from Mothercare.

The Pram Centre in Glasgow tested the Tobi out in my mini and said they would not approve it for use as it did not fit well enough. We got a Britax Renaissance instead. We bought a Tobi anyway to put in out Leon but the Britax is much better.
