Question Calling All Parents!

Does anyone have, or have they seen the 'MINI' baby buggy available in the accessories booklet? (Part No 82220142046)

Got my dealer to throw one in with a big discount during the purchase of my new Cooper in January. The car arrived two days ago but still no buggy! Dealer claims he can't get hold of one.

1. Does it fit in the boot?

2. Is it worth the £50 it will cost me?

3. Is the dealer stringing me along saying he can't get one?

The buggy doesn't fit in the boot.

Don't know about the other two, but seeing as it doesn't fit in the boot, I'd say don't bother.

I was told last summer that the buggy shown in the ctalogue was unavailable, and that was from three dealers, BMW and MINI UK. Don't know if the situation ever changed, as we bought a different buggy elsewhere.

Ordered my "S" August '01. Arrived July '02. EB with white roof, wheels and stripes, Chili pack, DSC and climate control. Hate those 17" runflats though.

Can now be seen all over the West Midlands, as a blue blur passing everything at speed

The Graeco Metrosport system fits - buggy, plus 0-9months car seat, plus a VERY handy base that the seat just clicks into (I'd have gone nuts messing with belts around the baby carrier, as my drive is very narrow and I can't open the door to its full width when putting baby in the back).

The buggy is a tight fit in the boot, and you have to tke the parcel shelf out, but it does fit - unlike 90% of buggies out there.

Graeco do a couple of buggy-only packages that are based on the same buggy chassis, and should therefore fit nicely.

mamas and papas Aria should fit, as should the Maclaren Mac3, but try before you buy.

MINI dealers (two) told me it doesn't fit in their cars, they have to fold the seats down.

Maybe it's changed?
