| MINI Traitor | MINI Car seats - AUS Well, as some of you might be aware, there is a MINI swamos on the way ![]() So, we're in the market for a car seat. We'd like the most flexable one for the MINI, and preferably one that will match the Lapis Blue ![]() I have posted this in the Aussie forum because our design rules are quite different to other countries, and recomendations from other places will not apply here. Brands and product names are different as well. I don't believe that the MINI brand car seat is certified for use in Australia Can anyone confirm this?? ![]() BTW, There are a number of other Australian MINI2ers that should be interested in this thread ![]() Clubman less.... ![]() |

Offline | Steve Apologies for not letting you know earlier. The seat that our son uses is the Aunger Model 3000. It is available in blue/black, which may match your car. The seat is the convertible type. This means that it faces the rear for younger babies and then when the child is older can be reclined such that the baby faces forward. Our son loves the baby seat. Check this place is Brisbane http://www.babyworx.com.au/carseats.htm In Melbourne, cost is about $260. Lot of luck. Chris |

Offline | Oh mighty cat in a hat. Yes, there is a worrying trend after Mini purchase. Maybe you have missed kshapiros's general thread on "Sex in a Mini". Maybe such contorted positions are awakening some unknown fertility god from his or her slumber. Maybe "S" induced adrenaline is having a previously un-reported physiological effect and producing "S"uper sperm. Just like we have different strains of flu's (Influenza A, Influenza B)- maybe we have discovered "Adrenalin S" - let's just hope it doesn't also turn us into big ugly green Marvel Comics super heroes ready to make their return to the big screen. Anyway, any attempt at humor aside, when we finally meet - please remind me not to try sex in the Mini - I do not need sprogs at the moment. |

| MINI Traitor | I'm sorry mate, you're too late. Melody already has a baby. Maybe there's something she hasn't told you. ![]() Seriously, though, we were walking around one of those Baby institutions, and saw a lady pictured with a baby carrier that looked soo like Melody it was quite disconcerting. I have searched the web for over an hour now looking for the photo, and have notched up 30 meg of downloads (god I love cable), and all I could come up with was the attached. It's not as good as the one on the box, but you might get the picture. Clubman less.... ![]() |
