Talking Baby Seat....

Just had some good news, so can anyone point me in the right direction to buy the Mini supplied baby seat. I have tried the usual web searches and the official mini sites but i can;t find it.

Also I heard there was a Mini Fridge, is this the case?

Scoobies and Coopers, mmmmmmm nice.

Contact your dealer and ask for a copy of the Accessories brochure. I have a copy and it does have the baby seat in it and the fridge thingy also. From memory the seat is 3 stage - 1 being 0-6 months 2 being 1-3 (ish) the 3 is a booster seat. From memory it is about £270.

You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off !!

It is in the mini catalog from the German dealers, but I have never seen it on-line or in any of the U.S. brochures. I'm taking delivery of mine (U.S. spec) in Germany next month and plan to get the car seat from the dealer who will install my other accesories (JCW kit, roof decal, lights, etc).

They do speak English. The prices I have are Baby Seat 0+ (0-18 months) Euro 265. Junior seat (9mo - 7 years) Euro 329. It's big money, but I'm going to do it too, you know they need the best. She should start off with everything as she will "inherit" the car when the time is right (like I will be able to give my Mini and my little girl up at the same time).

Let me know if you want some contact numbers from here.

Now this is fun:

Its standard in the US, in other countries (like the UK) its an option. There may be other places its standard as well.

You may see it mentioned as Isofix since aparently the world couldn't agree on calling it Latch.

Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball.
