Baby Stroller MINI Research

For all you parents or soon to be parents looking for a stroller that fits in the MINI boot without folding down the seats, without removing the shelf, without compromising safety or comfort, retaining the ability for a Travel System, this is it! It's the Peg Perego Aria GM. It weighs 9 pounds and supports up to 40 pounds. It fits perfectly in the boot, but then again, nothing else will fit! Sure it costs more than typical strollers, but it's less than a comparable COMBI, and current owners are raving about it.

See full pictures and detail on my MINI site.

We've got that and I've been advising people that it's a good choice. I only use the stroller though as we have a BMW ISOFIX child seat. We can get the stroller, and a few bags in the boot no problem.

Hi Paul! Oh really?? I bet you advised me too, and it went in one ear and out the other!!! Well, having been to the Baby store and confirmed it would fit, and tested it out myself, I feel pretty confident this is what we'll be getting. My wife was impressed by it too. =)

I was glad that even with my CD changer it would fit. I tried another stroller that was actually smaller when unfolded, but was about 1/2" longer when folded and it refused to fit because of my changer.

Thanks for the tip! I feel more confident now of my choice!

Another good thing I find is it's incredibly easy to fold up and spring out. Compact but useful.

I agree. It did take me a few tries to figure out how to make it spring out since I was trying the demo model in the store. I love how light it is, yet how solid it still feels.

So did you put your newborn directly in this stroller?? I was under the assumption that you needed an infant seat for support until the child was old enough to not need it?
