Offline | Can't wait to use our Bugaboo Frog Saw Gwenneth on the telly out and about in London using hers the other night. Too bad it won't fit in the MINI Still regreting not being able to get a Silver Cross Compact instead of the Aria but with the horrible exchange rate (for us) and the fact that they are not exported to the USA the Compact would have cost well over twice as much as the Aria...still it's damn nice looking little number. Oh well ![]() ![]() |

Offline | The Bugaboo was our first choice. (because it's great in sand ... nothing to do with it looking the mutts nutts .. honest) It was the first one we tried in the MINI, and would oly go in with 1 rear seat down. If only they made the handle telescopic or fold it would be just right ![]() |

Offline | Jane I am quite surprised that Jane Matrix Travel system has not been mentioned here! We got one of those and very pleased about it.This is one of the best under the sun!Only worry is to fit it in the boot. |

| heading north !!!! | we got a kidzkargo buggy, it fits in the boot with space for other stuff too, don't have to fold down seats or parcel shelf, or take wheels off the buggy (good thing they don't come off anyway!). Its ok for babies as well as it lays down flat. And its got a huge shopping basket underneath! Global motivator ![]() |

Offline | Having bought a MINI after sproggs had arrived we already had push chairs, double buggy etc and yep it is a bit of a problem as the Graco double buggy and mothercare single buggy that we have are far too big to fit without folding down the seats. We borrowed an old Mclaren umbrella type buggy from some freinds though and it does fit in the boot without folding the seats down providing you remove the parcel shelf. Not ideal but then we don't use the MINI very often for family days out as we have an MPV as well. Having said that we did go to the Mini Cooper day at Beauleiu yesterday and took the buggy in the boot of the MINI plus picnic stuff, nappy changing kit etc. Fortuneately sprogg No 1 is now big enough at 3 years old not to need a pushchair. |

Offline | well, im getting a soft top cooper S next year and thinking abt a little one. I will have to make the most of the roof being down before kids arrive as I dont think a soft top and babies mix. Hubby will be babysitting alot then so I can get that roof down with no baby in tow!!!! I guess the m&p aria will fit in a converible boot too? |

Offline | Only in "winter mode" with the parcel shelf up high, as it sits on it's side in there. If you have it in "summer mode" (so you can open the roof), then no it wont. |

Offline | Mac 3 Hi, newbie here! Just to let everyone know, Maclaren have discontinued the Mac 3. I searched the internet high and low today and managed to get one by the skin of my teeth! If you intend buying one you'd better get your scates on! Apparently there's a new model coming out next May (!) with a swivel front wheel but the folded dimensions aren't available yet. |

| all good things....... | just come back from a trade show in Germany this weekend, and I managed to sneek on the Maclaren stand, they didn't have the Mac3 there, or any replacments for it. This fair is the biggest in Europe and where everyone launches their new products, so surprised it wasn't there. will ask a few people I know that work for Maclaren what is happening ![]() Food rule fanatic ![]() |
