Offline | Really!, which models are they, we had such a problem trying to find any that would do that apart from the Mac3 above. MCS, DS/B, 17's, Skirts, Xenons, fogs, Privacy, White lights, Leather, Climate, Heated screen, 6 CD, Multi S/Wheel, Cruise, DSC, OBC, head bags ... think that's about it ![]() My classic Mini site: www.minitalk.co.uk |

Offline | The Mamas & Papas Aria we have is still going strong. Fits in with a weeks shopping from Tesco and no seat folding, wheel pulling, or any other fiddling required. But it's got 4 wheels not 3. (Still does a lot of miles with me, on and off road, for 10 months with no problems yet (touch plastic)). |

Offline | Oddball, yeah pics would be appreciated. It seems a hot topic and one that comes around and around time after time. If we could have a post like this that is 'findable' then i'm sure it will be a great help (it would of saved me hours of tracking around baby shops )Paul, four wheels is fine, it's just my wife had her heart set on a 3 wheeler for some reason! and for a minute I did'nt think we would find one to fit! .... Not too sure on who worked on those products for Mothercare or SilverCross, but I hear they fell apart when testing at high speed ![]() |

Offline | Can I be Devils Advocate. If you plan on using the 3 wheeler on beaches and in parks then fine, buy one. If you mainly plan to use the 3 wheeler on the High Street and in shopping centres then go for a 4 wheeler. I see mothers struggling in shopping centres to manoeuvre their clumsy 3 wheelers. And removing the wheels to stow the 3 wheeler sounds fine in principle but in practice it will be less fun, especially when it's lashing down with rain, and you're putting wheels on/off for the umpteenth time. Some of the Mamas and Papas range are good, but bear in mind that their customer service is atrocious and that they attempt (illegally) to restrict your consumer rights. There is just one moon and one golden sun; And a smile mean friendship to ev'ryone; Through the mountains divide, and the oceans are wide; It's a small world after all. |

Offline | dietcokeplease, you can How about MINI shows complete with uneven fields and often mud. But yes I agree with you on the shopping issue. However, apart from the Aria, SilverCross Compact, Chicco Ponee and a Graco one there still isn't much to choose from even in the 4 wheel department. Even The Maclaren XT folding umbrella stroller was too long! |

Offline | We've been fine with the Aria, I walk at least three times a week across fields and "off road" with no bother. I look at it why compromise most of the time, for the few times you might need something bigger. That's why I drive a MINI and hire a white van if ever we need to do any hauling, and don't drive a big MPV every day for the once or twice a year we could do with more storage. |

Offline | Point taken Paul... now here is the number to explain that to my hormonal wife ..... 07973...... Oh, and she is a wannabe surfer and we go to UK beaches a lot in the summer (how does the Aria do on the beach?) ....however, I doubt she will be surfing this year (PS. yes we do have a roofrack for the boards ) |

Offline | Times like that you need a baby carrier strap on thing. Much nicer than using a buggy too, all snuggly. And helps to keep you fit. (Not while surfing of course). ![]() |

| all good things....... | if you are worried about three wheelers round town, suggest you get one that has a lockable swivel wheel rather than the maclaren three wheeler, also on the that be careful you don't over load it, or you might find the rear wheels bow outwards due to the way it folds (similar to a golf bag trolley).due to the weight distribution towards the back and the 3 wheels you will find the turning even easier with a 3 wheeler than some 4 wheelers ![]() But its all horses for courses, everyone has their personal tastes, needs and requirments, then it comes to colours and brand loyalties etc... My favourite buggy at the moment has to be Buggaboo Frog, its just really ![]() Food rule fanatic ![]() |
