United-Kingdom Scratches on the boot trim by the travel system/prams

Our baby's travel system (Jane Powertrack 360) seems to be making some superficial scratches on the trim of the boot (the vinyl bit) while putting it in or taking out.I am looking for a sheath of rubber or something similar which I can simply slap on the trim to protect it from the scratches.Anyone any suggestions or ideas? The conventional boot organiser does not protect the vinyl trim.

Sorry i'm not offering a fix but just to say that i have problems with the back of the seats scratching incredibly easily.I can't believe that after all the development that went into the MINI they would not consider using a cloth backed seat.I have noticed that the newer models have a pattern similar to the dash and door trim, so when my 05 MINI ONE arrives in september hopefully it won't be a problem anymore

So far as the boot trim goes, I decided not to worry and just order a replacement panel if if ever gets too bad, or we need to sell the car.

Regarding the seat backs, they changed in 2003 to the new improved design, MUCH less easy to mark/scratch, but still possible.

Thanks Paul. How much do they charge at the bodyshop for this? Is there any alternative to them in this regard?
