3rd seatbelt in the back..?

a friend of mine is considering getting a Mini.... but she was wondering about back seat belts - does anyone know if you can have a 3rd seatbelt installed in the middle - and a seat as well I suppose!? I don't reckon you can but thought it might be worth asking..

Thanks all

There's a bit of a "hump" in the middle of the rear seat, which probably precludes wanting to sit there for more than 30 seconds at a time anyway.

....Unless that's your "sort of thing".

3rd seat belt would be impossible, and almost certainly illegal! There's no anchorage points, the car is simply not designed with this in mind. The occupants would also have to be extremely well-acquainted, it would be a very tight fit!

I love my MINI, but the back seat is just not fit for three people.
