Unfortunately at this time the miniatures for the NEW MINI Cooper are not as finalized as yet but Chilli Red is a chosen color for the NEW MINI cooper miniature in 1/87,1/43 and 1/18 other color choices not final. But complete news including listing of NEW MINI Cooper/Cooper S in 1/87,1/43 and 1/18 should come sometime before the end of the week.

I have been told that the NEW MINI Cooper miniatures will arrive at the same time of European Market launch in December.

What I can announce is that the NEW MINI Cooper S will be available as 1/18 by Kyosho hopefully during the 4th qtr or 2006 or at earliest 1st qtr 2007.
Again the exclusive colors of NEW MINI cooper S are chosen for the miniature :

1/18 MINI COOPER S 2006 (R56) - Laser Blue metallic
1/18 MINI COOPER S 2006 (R56) - Dark Silver metallic

The NEW MINI Cooper S will also be available as 1/87 scale and 1/43 respectively. With Laser Blue being the main color for 1/87 and 1/43 .

Thanks for the heads up! I model trains in 1/87 scale, and am slowly assembling a MINI Run on one of my modules.

I can always use more MINIs!

Any word on who the manufacturer is?
