Offline | How to open die-cast Cooper S model Hi all. Four years ago when I was waiting three months for my '03 MC, my wife got me the die-cast 1:18 model. While I waited, I customized it by painting on the checkboard roof and red interior of the car I had ordered. Well, now I'm waiting a couple of months for my '06 MCS, so I went to the dealer and picked up the MCS die-cast model. The wheels are correct, but it's got a sunroof (mine won't), a silver body (mine's chili red) and doesn't have the red seats/dash I've ordered. So, a bit of putty and sanding and the sunroof is gone. However, I can't figure out how to remove the body from the base to work on the interior. On my other model, there are two screws in the bottom, but I can't find anything on the new one. Can someone help me out here? Thanks! David |
