Guess what kids... I bought another replica today!

Even came with a Eater egg...and its bigger than my "S" Replica and the best thing is its a COOPER replica black with white roof... with a real opening bonnet and doors!

Here's a tip: check out Aldi for your diecast MINI fix. My mother-in-law just gave me one for my birthday. It's a self-assembly job, but only takes about 10 minutes and the results are excellent. You even get a choice of two different alloys (both 5-spokes in silver or chrome).

I have another MINI somewhere that was a keyring that I used to use waaay back b4 I even got my MINI but for the life of me I can't even find it!!!

On the topic of scale Mini's - there are some great ones out there.

Kyosho of Japan make a cooper/one that you can change the wheels and even bumpers (between standard and the aero kit) - that one is very cool. 1/18th scale I think

I have a "fully sik" mini that has play-mini or mini-mania or some such branding on it - it features an orciari body kit on it though and is pretty cool. 1/18th scale as well.

There is now a "Cooper S" and "JCW Cooper S" plastic model kit available in 1/24th by Fujimi (I think?) I have the Cooper S, but I saw the JCW one in a model shop in Melbourne last week. The quality is quite good, but not up to Tamiya standards.

I have been told by a number of sources that there is a "Dub City" Mini available which supposedly features the Konigseder body kit. As I hapen to have the Konigseder kit fitted to my Jalopy I am very keen to get myself a scaled down version of my ride. I have done some investigation and can find nothing that hints that there is such a beast - yet I have been told by 2 completely different sources (after them having viewed my car) that there is such a model out there. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
