Offline | Replica Model of my MCS My little brother is a MINI nut... ever since I've had (classic) mini's he's loved them, old ones, new ones he just loves them. A couple of years ago he saved up his pocket money and bought a little model mini Cooper that sits pride of place on his drawers. Only problem is it's Blue with white roof, mirros and no stripes. Well a trip to Supercheap for some black gloss paint, masking tape and black electrical tape... and an afternoon fixed that and we have the following results. heheheh I love it! Now I'm on the hunt for another one so I can do it again. Anyone have replicas? Last edited by Paul_T : Feb 19th, 2007 at 04:52 AM. |

| This space aint long enou | I got one of those lil suckers today, a red one, after doing the MINI driver training session. They are so small, you just want to choke on it. My lil dog loved chasing it across the tiled floor. I've got a few models of Indi Blue'n'White MINI's, none of them very good quality though. Think Bburago made the 1:18 one, I had to paint the mirrors white they were black. ![]() |

Offline | Bburago man I love their diecast cars!!! I was a fan... hehe I have a Mini Cooper keyring floating around somewhere... used to be on my keys when I was drivin' my Suzuki Vitara... it was red with a white roof and it was one of those ones that you pulled back as well and it went flying... as well as being a keyring... man I wish I could find it... altho it would need a new paint job!!! ![]() |

Offline | One of the dealers already had 1:18 (i think) diecast R56 in that new blue with white roof back in December. Good detail but they were charging dealer prices though.... btw it was an 's' replica, not cooper. ![]() Last edited by mamba : Feb 23rd, 2007 at 12:40 AM. Reason: left stuff out... |

Offline | Hahaha! My model "S" is a Kinsmart model... I was down at Harbour Town on the coast... and this tobacconist place had em.... all different models, old sytle MINI new, but they didn't have any in the colour of your car... they had a model of the electric blue with white roof, red and white roof, yellow and white roof, black with white roof and that was it i think... I passed another shop and they had MINI cabrio models as well... hehe They weren't too exxy either... was $9.95.... and then towards the end of the day I walked past this shop that had an even bigger model MINI it was in BRG with a white roof and had $50 on it... altho there was a sign saying that there was money off these models... ![]() I'll post pics up so you can have a sticky! ![]() |

Offline | Very... I'll have to take some pics of my 2 babies together... ![]() I'm really surprised at the detail inside of it... most model cars don't normally worry too much but this one is really something ![]() |
