| This space aint long enou | We'll just have to be patient. I've got a DS/W R56MCS 1:18 model and it's a bit shabby in detail. The most obvious stoopid thing is the fuel cap, its just a flat chrome sticker over flush Cooper style cap. The R53 models at least have a replica of the genuine chrome "S" filler cap! The chrome line exterior on the R56 model is all up the poop. No chrome on the front bumper, the chrome is on the rear bumper but is not on the number plate strip??? The way the bonnet shuts over the headlights is really well done though. I had better not be a whinging biatch though, my great dealer gave it to me as a gift for being patient waiting for my spotlights. ![]() |

Offline | That's a beautiful looking model. ![]() I want to get a nice 1:18 scale model of the "old" MINI Cooper S for my collection, but I'm still undecided between the Kyosho or the AutoArt version. And then I'll be ready for a model of the R56!!! ![]() ![]() DeadCanDanceR |

Offline | Ive got a 1:18 scale model cooper S in laser blue,i got it for christmas and bought it from my local mini dealer, it does look really smart as it also comes with the white roof and mirror caps and white bonnet stripes and alloys , but the interior is the complete opposite its got the red/black sports seats and grey colourline plus the nasty looking fake chrome petrol filler cap.![]() |
