Offline | NEW DEVELOPMENT...... OK, sorry to spring this all on you, especially those that have already committed and payed or are sending payment. The manufacturing company are not letting me order from them in smaller batches, they want a complete one off order. This means that I have to have confirmed and payed for orders for at least 50 pieces. It also means that I wont be able to order 'a few more' at later dates. The complete order would cost me nearly £2000 more at this stage just to the manufacturer. I am seriously hacked off with this atitude from the manufacturer, to such an extent that I'm considering cancelling the whole thing. If I do cancel I will obviously refund the monies to those that have been good enough to pay already and would return any cheques that are recieved in the meantime. So I'm not sure what to do at the moment. Not enough people have committed to paying for the item to allow me to take a risk and process the entire order and I feel that the manufacturing company are holding me 'to ransom' over the issue. Your input on this would be appreciated. Thanks Tony just to add, I wont make any quick, rash decisions on this, as things always look pretty crappy on a Monday.... :-) |

Offline | Tony Sorry to hear this project is proving to be difficult. Seems typical of big firms nowadays Sent you my cheque in the post today. Think the only thing to do is ask all people who have said they want a block to pay you up front. We cannot expect you to lay out £2000 just on peoples promises. Wont mind if this takes longer as Im sure it will. Also people would have to understand that this is a one off order. If they miss out on this block it will be there fault and not yours You have put a lot of effert to get this thing this far and it would be a pity if it all fails now So come on people get your money sent to Tony and support all the HARD work he has put into this for us GP owners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Offline | Okay, are you still wanting us to pay, or are you thinking of cancelling the order? I'll pay you today if you're serious. Just let us know one way or another. I want a small one.....can't afford the larger one, although, it does look awesome. ![]() '06 PW/B MCS JCW and LIL BOMB '06 GP #0907 driven by MINI Papa |

Offline | If those on the list can commit this week to actually buying one rather than just saying they are interested then we will proceed with the project. If by the end of the week I havent recieved enough definate orders than I will probably cancel. I understand however that a lot of people are currently away with MiniUnited so perhaps this is why its been a little 'slow' from some quarters. I will be emailing everyone that hasnt orderred later tonight to see if they still wish to proceed. Thanks for your patience, and support Tony |
