Hi Tony, could I have a small block with illuminated base with courier delivery please. Send a money order to my email and I will Pay Pal the money. Cheers, Griff.

More Questions

Tony,
1. Just wanted to be sure you were re-confirming dimensions of "large" block
2. Lighted Base: Battery or electric power? If electric, voltage?
3. Available for Large Block as well ? Price?
4. When will you "open " the ordering process?
5. When is the "cutoff date" (get your money in or else!) for this project?
6. Will you bill (PayPal payment request) separately for the piece and then for its shipping?
7. Is the ordering of the "large glass" a separate process?
8. Is there a minimum number required to manufacture the large block ?

Thanks

Charlie

Sorry, Ex-cop. Just used to asking a lot of questions.

Many thanks for putting this all together. You'll derive great satisfaction-- once it is over-- in having done a wonderful thing for so many GP owners.

I used to feel the same way about spearheading Group Buys of MINIs from a dealer in Ohio; but when the transporter arrived in California, and you saw the smiles on the other 7 new owners receiving their cars, it was all worth it.

Cheers

Charlie

Wow, not much else I can say to that......

Have 'asked' all the relevant questions of the supplier, hopefully most of the answers will come today.....

Cheers

NEW DEVELOPMENT......

OK, sorry to spring this all on you, especially those that have already committed and payed or are sending payment.

The manufacturing company are not letting me order from them in smaller batches, they want a complete one off order. This means that I have to have confirmed and payed for orders for at least 50 pieces. It also means that I wont be able to order 'a few more' at later dates.

The complete order would cost me nearly £2000 more at this stage just to the manufacturer.

I am seriously hacked off with this atitude from the manufacturer, to such an extent that I'm considering cancelling the whole thing. If I do cancel I will obviously refund the monies to those that have been good enough to pay already and would return any cheques that are recieved in the meantime.

So I'm not sure what to do at the moment. Not enough people have committed to paying for the item to allow me to take a risk and process the entire order and I feel that the manufacturing company are holding me 'to ransom' over the issue.

Your input on this would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tony

just to add, I wont make any quick, rash decisions on this, as things always look pretty crappy on a Monday.... :-)
