Just acquired some photos of a new MINI from elsewhere on the internet. It could well show the "cheaper" MINI we've been hearing such a fuss about lately on MINI2.

From the photos it appears slightly longer than the current model, and certainly a little squarer.

The most surprising detail is that it quite clearly has the rumoured "clip on" plastic roof!!

Obviously it is the Cooper S version (with bonnet air scoop), earlier picture showed a bonnet bulge for the 1.8T engine. I am concerned about space shuttle like tile loss at high speed though.

I think the 15" pepperpot wheels look a little out of proportion don't you think?

Needs at least 22" wheels to make it look good IMHO

They make it out to be a WOW car - it is sooooo not - been there seen it, japs copied it - booooring!

close but no cigar, its similar to the Rolls Royce but in this instance a flying penguin lifts up but should any would-be-penguin theif come along, and boy there are loads around, it secretly slots back down out of harms reach.
