I have been meaning to get one of those little R/C packs.

How much are they again?

$29.94 for the IB MCS with all the running gear
then $9.95 for the spare body kits - DS/B MCS with Yellow Lancer EVO or BRG MCS with Silver 911 GT3
I must admit I was tempted

It's good to ****** my missus off as I've just bought another useless junk and taking up valuable luggage allowance when I am due to go home

All of their steering is a on-off switch ie doesn't quite turn quite as smooth as expected. The big one can do mad dorifto when I put sticky tape all over the rear tyres (don't ask me why they're RWD..)

Got mine for Christmas (scroll down a few posts):

http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...ge=411&pp= 15

Does anyone know if there's somewhere on the web we can order those AUTOart models? I have 4 WRC models and the detail is incredible. Even the dash and steering wheel are covered in 'black foamy stuff' (for want of a better word) like the real cars....fire fighting bottles, engine and brake caliper detail - the works!

Here's a link:
http://www.autoartmodels.com/pages/allpage/p22.htm
http://www.autoartmodels.com/pages/allpage/p23.htm

The MCS with 'bodykit' and driving lights looks sweet!

It was an incredible pain in the nether-regions to find it as they don't have any search function!

Big R/c Mc

Dropped into Toys 'R' Us in Liverpool on my way home yesterday to see what models they had there. The big R/C MC is huge and nicely detailed. Has a couple of buttons that simulates locking the doors, beeping the horn and an engine idling sound. Nicely details interior too...

I was ooh aah'ing and my missus picked one up and said, " I'm getting it" and started walking out. It was two hundred bucks and I immediately got 'buyer regret' so told her to put it back. It's huge and really I was wondering where I'm gonna put the sucker! Twas the right colour for me though...only thing better would be if it had a sunroof and was an 'S'.

They also had the $25 small model but I've got two others that look similar so I'll wait til I get the one with the sunroof..

I know . Check out the number plate "MINI 747" .
I couldn't believe it, I staggered into my Hotel in Germany at 6.00am in the morning after a 20 hour flight and it was sitting in a glass display case in the Hotel Foyer, so I said to myself "thats mine" and then started blubbering " mine, mine, mine, mine," untill they sold it to me.

Hey nice one Alan

I want a set of those lights for the top of my car except I would have messages that say things like

"how many lanes do you want bozo"
"can you pick a speed and stick to it, please"
or something simple like
"get the fvck out of my way, please"

Now lets play the game where we guess who got stuck behind every Camry driving idiot in the world this morning.

At least it is only an evening and will hopefully be over quickly . I have six days in an imitation Camry coming up. Ugh!
