White Cooper Scale Model in Pepper White?

Why, oh why is it SO darn hard to find a scale model in Pepper White? I more often than not see the SM's in just about every other color, EXCEPT PW! Does anyone have a website or anything that they purchased a PW scale model from???

I have searched Ebay, Google, dealer sites, everything and to NO avail... the only white MC scale models I have ever found are just that... white, NOT Pepper White and everyone knows there is a HUGE difference... Thanks for the help!

Thanks! This is probably the best one I have seen yet... even the scale model at my dealer's was a white-white and not pepper white, what a dissapointment! One would assume something coming straight from a dealership would be top-notch...

Check this out....

http://www.scaleautomag.com/sca/comm...TOPIC_ID=15373

I know it's more hastle but this way the model can be a perfect 1/24 scale version of your MINI !!!!
Well worth the effort in my opinion if you have the time!!!!
Good luck with it,
Matt

Thanks for that link as well, Matt, it is an interesting, and probably, the best option to really get what I want, although I'd be hard-pressed to find the time and patience to paint and put together a model car like that... But we'll see what happens

At the Charity Ball a guy known through the new MINI Scotland site provided a R/C MINI that was "blinged" to the hilt ....... he can provide an exterior to order so if you want a pepper white with stripes, or vipers, or nothing then he can do it.

I've not got a website for him but his email is : rtechdesign@hotmail.com

He very kindly supported us through the MINI2 Ball so it would be good to support him back - and the quality was excellent

Wales I couldn't find one either

Check the 1/43rd model in my gallery -- sprayed it myself. Working on a 1/18th scale now.

Hi there
Sorry I didn't reply but I'm not on the BIG site very often
I am the very chap Alan is on about
My only concern,as you pointed out, is that the pepper white is a very light creamy kind of white so don't know if I can replicate it perfectly I could maybe back it with black I really don't know Plus I think it would cost a bomb for me to buy the kit in the UK compared to how much you would pay in the states for the same stuff.
Ohh is it a Cooper or an 'S' your after

Wales Custom Paint

My Pepper White model is spray painted with a can of "Almond" color from walmart. I defy anyone to notice a difference between the actual car and the model. The color is virtually indistinguishable to the eye. If I can get hold of the base model I reckon I can make a 1/43rd scale in Pepper White for about $20. That's costing in my time - cause as I mentioned previously I did put 7 coats of paint on the model. I just (like a few minutes ago) finished a 1/24th scale which I left in the manufacturers colors. Not a bad model (Maisto) and not to difficult to put together. I think I'll need a full day to put the 1/18th scale together if I am going to spray it in Pepper White -- which is still my intention. However at the moment I'm working 75 hours a week and don't have much time for anything other than sleep when I get home! I'll post pics as soon as it's done.

It might be late for this post, but i've seen a beautiful 1/18 model of the MINI Cooper S in Pepper White (w/black top) by Kyosho. I've just bought the Chili Red/White version and it is an amazing model!
