Iv been a member of this site for about 6 months npw but only recently leanred of QQJ. Who gets the say on where QQJ travels too?

I am always open to look after QQJ for a while. Infact I would love too. What a great idea to let him travel the world!

Well, I keep track of the really noteworthy events to make arrangements to send him to, and the rest is something of a free-for-all, depending on whose hands he is in at the moment! He's kind of a free spirit duck.

Cape Cod Mini has a request to take him on a trip in the US next May, and we will also plan to have him at the memorial that Sham is planning for Ruthie next summer. I also want him to get to the Cotswolds run next year, since Ed always wanted to go to that. Those are the known plans for 2007 at this point.

so is it only large events that QQJ gets to travel too? As I would love to have him for a weekend to show him around derbyshire and add my pics!

well i'll have a word with MiniCabrio this week, see what he has planned, might be able to get him upto Brum then off upto Derbyshire then back down to London for the Tick Tock Run at Xmas.

That would be really good! Love to be a part of something big within the MINI community And with it being a tribute to 2 missed MINI2 members it makes even better!

What is required when looking after QQJ? Take him on his travels, take a load of pics, and then pass him on to his next destination?

Denise seems to be Dancing with Jack in a lot of those pics - I always worried about her duck fetish

I wonder would we be able to get Jack back for the Irish run in May also if it doesn't clash? I bet Jimskater could bring him over for a few days again - MtM was one of the big runs Ruthie took part in - there was talk on Saturday from Chris, Gerards wife that maybe there should be a Quack Quack Jill for Ruthie?

Just a little addition. If it is possible to get jack down to derbyshire to spend some time with me, Im not sure how soon that would be, but I am on the Leeds & Harrogate run on Dec 3rd. If he was to make it to me for then he could come along Just an idea
