I'd like to take him on a bit of a journey round Northern Ireland. Any chance of him making it over here? He might then see a bit of Southern Ireland too. I'm going to the Cotswolds run in Aug, so could then bring him with me over to that...
Not sure about Mizen to Malin- he might be completely traumatised about ferries after the Newfoundland trip!
He has to be in the US for Minis On Top, and we have a plan to send him with Alaska with Blake in late June/early July, but we can send him over for the Cotswolds Run in August.
It would be great to get him back for One Lap of America, though. Road rally!
Those are great, you all. Hope you had a good time. Something about a big yellow rubber duck -- always gets people to lighten up and smile. When I had him in Arizona, my friend's 8-year-old daughter practically obsessed about Quack Quack Jack.
Nice to meet you this past weekend at the MoP rally. I hope that wasn't you pulled over by the Ipswich police!
Joe Rose and I are leaving for the One Lap next Thursday and we'd still love to take QQJ along with us if that is possible. Unfortunately that only leaves about a week to get him over here -- we'd be happy to pay his travel expenses (and return to the uK).
Please send me a PM if there is some way to make this work.
Quack Quack Jack is stopping over in Rochester NY again, to join LePew & Joe R in the AM on their One Lap of America run. He looks excited to be heading out on another adventure! Many thanks to the friends in the UK who looked after him at the Ball, and to Ruthie who escorted him home.
I've talked to April Whine about sending him on California Dreamin. I haven't talked to Blake in a while, but I think he is willing to take him along to Alaska in June. I'm not sure when the return date on that is compared to the MTTS start date. I think QQJ needs his own social secretary, or at least his own calendar!
I'll certainly pass on the greetings to the One Lap team! (Here's Joe looking in now- hi Joe! Amy says hi!)
Arrived safely in South Bend about 7:30 pm. Joe and I are tired and turning in early. QQJ, having slept all afternoon, on the other hand is still out and about somewhere
