Have to post the One Lap departure pics here too. Funny, I missed the chance to get a picture of David, Joe & QQJ together, though maybe they planned it that way? ![]() QQJ waiting for a ride, in his 'racing harness' On board & ready to go, talking rubber with the tires: And they're off- QQJ watching out for the rear ![]()

Kathy, So nice to see you yesterday. The turkey sandwiches and fruit were just the right thing for lunch. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for entrusting QQJ to us. We had a preliminary interview with a freelance reporter for Roundel magazine today. She was very intrigued by the duck on the antenna and when we showed her QQJ she was floored. Took many many pictures. We'll have the rest of the week to fill her in on the "details of the duck" -- my hope is that QQJ makes a magazine spread on OneLap!

May 4-13 2006 - QQJ ran the One Lap of America QQJ finished the One Lap of America yesterday. He "ran with the big dogs" for 6000 miles visiting the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. He passed though the major cities of Buffalo, Cinncinatti, Chicago, Omaha, Kansas City, New Orleans, Mobile, Jacksonville, Charleston, Greensboro, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Milwaukee. And countless backwaters.... He also did six hot laps at the Putnam Park road course in Indiana (in the rain, of course) where he finished 36 out of 88 drivers. http://www.putnampark.com/ Time for some rest before MINIs on Top next month.

If anyone has pictures of QQJ they'd like to add to the journal, let me know. Nono, do you still have the notebook journal? We'll be looking to put all the pictures, journal & QQJ together at MOT. Is QQJ going to Boston this weekend? Aare there still real ducks on Boston Commons, or just the 'Make Way For Ducklings' statue? ![]()

There are real ducks, real swans, and swan boats. Also, not too far away, there's the staging area for the Duck Boat Tours. When are you coming to Boston? If it's a good time, how about adding some Cambridge itinerary. It's time for QQJ to get his honorary Harvard degree. Lemme know. ![]()

QQJ is indeed planning to visit Boston this weekend. Mandatory stops are at the Common and Charlestown Navy Yard. And at least a wave hello at the Duck Tour boats as they enter the Charles, if he doesn't have the scratch for an actual ride. MIT or Harvard? I was thinking he was more of a renaissance man, and while here would to collect both an undergraduate engineering degree from MIT and graduate degree (MBA? JD?) from Harvard. What are a good time and place to meet? Sunday -- high noon at the Make Way for Ducklings statue on Boston Common?
