At last, some pictures from their AMVIV adventure!

They settled into the car nicely, and got a good view of all the scenery along the way



After two long, solid days of driving, they finally arrive at the Palace Station in Las Vegas, which served as the AMVIV headquarters.



They joined us on all the runs, including one to Nelson's Landing, NV



Of course we couldn't miss the "Meet the MINIACs" mixer, which included a guest appearance by Sin City MINI Club's member at large, "Mr.Cone"



One couple in our contingent decided to renew their wedding vows at the Drive Thru Window of the Little White Wedding Chapel. Both Jack & Jill were honoured to be included in the wedding party.

The ducks are still in the US, because there is a Mini run to Long Island this weekend, to the Big Duck where this whole duck fascination started with Maxamini years ago. I've been meaning to get the ducks there for years now, and couldn't miss this opportunity. Scooter08 has the ducks now & will take them to Long Island.

From there they will go to Pat & Angela's for Memorial Day, if all goes as planned.

The Quack Quacks are enjoying some relaxation in Massachussets and Connecticut before their Long Island run on Saturday. Last Sunday, they dined in an Italian restaurant with some MINI friends. Wednesday, they motored to Colchester, CT, where they delighted a group of MINI owners over some really yummy burgers and fries. They also visited a new MINI owner who happened to be working at the vet's office nearby the burger place. Yes, we did ask if they could get a check up at the vet! : )

Today they are at school with me (I am a middle school teacher.) My students are fascinated by all the places they have been! We got some very nice pictures that I will post soon.

Tomorrow it is off to Long Island and the Big Duck!

Sorry, one more thing. Babs the Duck Lady, who works in the Big Duck, was very taken with the story of Quack Quack Jack and Quack Quack Jill. There is video of her meeting the ducks. Will try to post a link to that as soon as there is one.

They flew to Rhode Island today. They are expected to arrive there tomorrow or Wednesday.
