| Sadly, at the start of Bike Week, three bikers have already been killed...just a reminder that we'll be at the tail end of Bike Week...and need to share the road. It's usually a lot of fun to get thumbs up from the bikers. http://www.boston.com/news/local/new...orcycle_crash/ |

That is sad. Reality check time. This morning I came across a site with an incredible reminder of the dangers of moose and cars! Unbelievably the driver wasn't hurt, besides a broken wrist! Here in Illinois we worry about deer and woodchuck/raccoon. Nothing like this!! What time of day are the moose usually moving about? http://www.the-adept.net/archives/cat_funny.html ( It is shortly followed by a funny, but rather colored story ... so don't tell me I didn't warn you...) |

| that end of blog story is truly funny or, priceless. Yeah, it's amazing that the driver only suffered a broken wrist...it's great photographic evidence of what most people don't realize, that moose are so darn tall that you basically cut them off at the knees and they "fall" into your windshield...as evidenced by the minimal damage to the nose of the car. Hmmm, wonder what the new '07 and its "pedestrian safe" front would do.... |

| As I posted earlier... (and warned about driving SLOW on Moose able roads).. as long as you will be in the Gorham area.. if you want to see moose.. go to the east bank of Berlin to Success Rd Loop.... hell.. that's where the moose tour goes!!! 2003 Pepper White, CVT, Cold Package, Premium Package, Chrome Inserts, Sport Seats, Euro Shelf, AUX Adapter, Taillight Brake Mod, Hot Pocket, Glovebox Organiser, Mini-Fini Cupholder |

In Minnesota they put deer whistles on the bumpers to warn animals of vehicles. Do moose even care? In New Hampshire, are they likely to flee or charge a car if you stop to look at one? Thanks Pamlinco! Hope recouperating Mrs is going well! If the drive were decent, might you two consider going to the BBQ Thursday night?! |
