Pamlico, this was the last MoT that will be easy for Fuzzy and me to attend. We're taking early retirement and moving to Vegas.

So, not THE final MoT, just my final MoT.

Arrived home safe - Canada Customs were very cooperative at the border. Thank you all for making this such an enjoyable time and making us feel welcome. Didn't know anyone when we arrived, but thanks Harvey & Rick for coming over and saying "hello" on Thursday and thank you Ian for making it happen for us.

The drive to the top of the Mountain was "awesome" - can't believe we did it! Roads in N.H. are fantastic to drive on "MINI" style.

Very impressed with the excellent organization by a great group of volunteers - kudos to you all - very well done!

God willing, hope to see you all next year.

Brian & Diana

cops,cops,cops,and more cops!!!

I too had MANY encounters on the way home, none of which resulted in ticket thanks to my 8500. Many thanks to IAN and the rest of the yellow hats and red aprons for making this a truly memorable weekend. The observatory tour was awesome, thanks to NHREF for setting it up.Met MANY very cool people mainly because I put my hand out ALOT.To the guy Jonathan with the kilt , it was good to meet you and amusing to hear your anecdote about MINI people vrs Corvette people: I made a comment that I have yet to meet a more passionate bunch of people in the MINI community, he agreed and said that he also has a vintage 57 vette and that the meets he attends aren't all that much fun.Too much testosterone? I asked .Exactly, he said. I told him anyone that wears a kilt can't have too much of a problem with that!
Zane goes into Sublime Restorations tomorrow and I have not one, but two gift certificates for the work!!! (only cost me a hundred bucks to save $550!!!!)
Jock

out of my mind.........back in five minutes.

Fun Time for First time

Me and my wife Brenda had an awesome time, it was nice to meet so many people, and see so many MINI's in one area, I love all the vanity plates we came across, and no two Mini's were alike cool.

Thanlk you to alll the volunteers for a great time and am already looking forward to next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE!
Thanks to everyone that attended and made the event so wonderful - and of course LOADS of thanks to all the "yellow hat" volunteers, and to my wife Margaret!

Special thanks also to the many yellow hats that in addition to donating heaps of their time over the last few months and this weekend, also donated their own money to pay for many of the "MOT extras" that help make the event so great.

I'll be following up in the next couple of days with final fundraising figures, but with the fabulously generous $4000 auction donation for the JCW upgrade, we should easily break $15,000 this year.

Rob,
Theo, Carol, Margaret & I hit Pollys Pancakes, waiting 1-1/2 hours to be seated, but of course it was worth it and I brought home some pancake mix, bacon and maple spread so I can do it all again one weekend soon.

Meanwhile, I hope everyone had an excellent time ...

Howdy, everyone! Back home again, and want to add thanks to all who helped make MOT what it is, from the 'Yellow Hats' (damn, I forgot to make any Curious George references!) and all the attendees, especially all who came out to their first Mini event.

When I was at the lunch stop yesterday (Is it the Willey House?) a couple who had stopped by for the view asked me "How did this all happen? Did you post it on the internet and everyone came up?" And I told them that's exactly how it happened...
