Thanks for the tip, Mike! Just snagged a room for Fri. + Sat nights at the T & C. Actually, I was pretty lucky considering my computer has been toasted for a couple weeks & I've been working so much it almost didn't matter. T - 70 days & counting...
If it was room 301 or 310 or something, you are very welcome. Actually, that's a great room. Came with complimentary prune juice last year.
I have taken the liberty of inviting a pal and his fellow Escalade owners (about 12 of them) to Loon. I figure that interspersing (??) them in a line of MINIS on the Kanc might look like the jewels in a necklace as seen from the famous Wardell WingCam.
Yep, I just haven't figured out where yet. It looks like the whole family is coming this year, so I'm gonna guess that a flying join-up at Mr. Mike's in Stoddard will do the trick. If I come up with one of Wallace & Grommit's wake-up machines, we might go out to YC, but prolly not. I'll post over there tomorrow as a test of the computer working 2 days in a row.
that's the best news I've heard in a long time, those bad boys should absorb the Park Rangers' crickety old radar guns, allowing our MINIS to scream through the Kanc, taking the speeding tickets for us.
I think Theo is giving Mr. Mike's a pass this year.....more gas from the vittles than the pumps. However, that stretch of road is all mine so expect the bizarre.
Haha When I called the florist I asked for black roses or the ugliest flowers and plants he could make into an arrangement. They even agreed to go to the grocery store and add a bottle of prune juice to the arrangement delivery.
Brother, I'm gonna miss you this year
Missing my buddies Dan, Ed, and Diane but glad I have three angel buddies, And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs
me too but the birthday boy will be charged with disrupting chores suitable for many memories. Of course, if you spot a Mitsubishi salesguy in the bushes, well you never know................................
Don't worry, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. We didn't do a separate form this year because the goodie bags are all going to be the same, basically. It was nice to have them but logistically I think it works easier this way.
I would like to also have all the names of the pets that are coming (or have requested a goodie bag) Also any known food allergies. Please PM me the info.
Last count we had 27 pets registered which beats last years.
