| As some other posters might put it - BWAHH HAH HAH!! Good luck. If my brief experience on here, and in other threads is any indication, you're going to need it! Happy New Year to all !! (Can I say that in a non-religious fashion?) Looking forward to the climb to the top in June, and seeing/meeting you all again. On a personal note, thanks to you all for your support, friendship and thoughts during the past six months. It has meant a lot to the whole family, and helps to fill the void left by Maxamini just a little bit. As you know too well, it is a big void. I wish I had been a member here when he was active, it would have been hilarious. Ed sends his regards and best wishes for a successful MOT from on high. He promises great weather and a few surprises.  |

| Glad this wasn't the T&C!!! Fire Destroys Motor Lodge Near Mount Washington Lodge In Same Resort As Mt. Washington Hotel POSTED: 10:42 pm EST December 31, 2005 UPDATED: 10:50 pm EST December 31, 2005 No one was hurt as fire destroyed half of a fully-booked 50-room motor lodge near Mount Washington on Friday. The lodge is part of the same resort as the historic Mount Washington Hotel, which was not damaged. Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods spokeswoman Martha Wilson said flames erupted at 6 p.m. She explained it took firefighters 1 1/2 hours to knock down the fire. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. Guests were relocated to other area hotels. New Year's Eve festivities at the resort went on as planned. |

| That's too bad, I've stayed there before, it's very nice and the best part was that you get access to all the facilities up at the main hotel, while not paying the $$$$ rates. There was a nice dining room in the bldg itself. |

| Well, I booked my T&C room today....hopefully my son's graduation won't get moved back so far as to interfere w/ the weekend (if they keep calling snow days for no reason, it might). The woman was nice, as she reassured me I wouldn't get the room over the band this year  |
