They have seating for 70 so it wouldn't be too difficult. No reservations on weekends, however, so we'd have to storm them early.

I'd love to hit polly's again, and this time not take the 50-mile-extra-roundabout route to find it. We had well over an hour wait though even for a party of 2.

Actually, you haven't seen dull until you have done Syracuse to the PA state line (and on to south of Erie) via the Thruway on a gray Christmas Eve night. And halfway from Buffalo to PA, the radio slips Walkin' 'Round In Women's Underwear into the Christmas Carol mix, and you feel you're in the Twilight Zone.

I drive the Rochester to the PA line & on to Cleveland regularly, so I know what you mean. And if they were playing "Walkin' 'Round In Women's Underwear" right at the spot where the signs say "Correctional Facility Area- Do Not Pick Up Hitchhikers", I'd say that was the Twilight Zone!
