They've done 'Vette shows in the past and every Thursday in Westford (Wednesdays in Jaffrey) is "Cruise Night" so the potential is there.

They also have a from on their site to inquire about corporate and private events.

questions, questions, questions........

a few pressing questions:

-I am seriously interested in buying some more prize tickets as I REALLY want to win the Sublime Restorations prizes-my car is going into Julian's shop the day after MoT for several thousand dollars worth of work and it only makes sense to try to flood his can with hundreds of tickets with my name on them to try to *nudge* the odds a little, besides it's for a good cause even if I don't get his prize(s). Can I buy extas there or should I do it now?
-we are some of the lucky one's who get to go to the top early and go through the weather observatory, do I need to appoint an alternate to collect any prizes I might win?
-and lastly , my "packet o information" refers to some kind of MoT "car tag" that we're supposed to display at all times or suffer the rath of the "IANATOR" . what might this tag look like??????

out of my mind.........back in five minutes.

Car wash at Loon

The Class of 2007 of the Lincoln/Woodstock High School will be running a car wash at t6he Loon lot on Saturday morning to support their class fund. This was a great success last year, even in the rain. Since it will be a sunny 75 degrees on June 17 (all fingers crossed) it will be even better this year.

Please show them our support. The car wash is $5, but we can do better than that, right?

I may even get the MOT megaphone cleaned for the event.

Hmm, there is a trophy shop just down the street from work. I wonder if I should pickup the MoT '06 Cribbage Master trophy?

so the weather channel 10 day forecast for Lincoln, NH is of course predicting sunny days all next week with showers on Saturday.

I have two things to say to the worry warts that will inevitably come out of the woodwork:

1) This is New England, don't trust the forecast until Saturday AM
2) This is MINIs on Top, it's more important to have fun, meet new MINI owners, and support a great cause

OK, 3) Shaddup!

Then you'll absolutely no excuse for a few gallons from Kimball's...Looking forward to seeing that sweet ride in person...

YES - anyone - EVERYONE - taking the Observatory Tour that submits ticket(s) for raffle prize(s) MUST find someone to claim their winning(s). Ask that person to bring it to the summit or to the T&C or to any other mutually agreed on rendezvous.

Obs Tour participants - I will be sending out a reminder message early next week. In the meantime, the MOT06 booklet has the basic details you need to know.

Jock,
Yes the "car tag" is the sheet of paper with the MOT logo, your name and your registration number.

As general info, if anyone sees a great car and wants to make contact with the owner, note the reg number - we can use that to join the dots by email later on

Door prize tickets - every registration pack includes five and you can buy as many as you wish (subject to Theos ?2500? roll limit); additional tickets are just $1 each.
For the door prizes, you must be present to win. If we haven't drawn by the time the OBS folks head off, then please find someone trustworthy to collect any prizes for you

There's also still major prize raffle tickets available - $25 per ticket for a chance to upgrade your MCS to 210hp at MINI of Peabody expense, or to drive a rare Solar Red MINI Cooper for two years / 24,000 miles and then give it back to Herb Chambers MINI with no more than "thank you"!

Ian C. Gloucester, MA, USA (UK expat) driving GPMINI or a non-MINI!
