Michael,

I assume your meeting point will be Area 51?

Memento? That reminds me...I haven't watched that movie in a while and it was a good one!

Mr. Mike's Potty Stop

Realizing that this is an unofficial waystation, I hereby request permission to join up with you cretins and fools in downtown Stoddard if last year's route is to be repeated. By June, sadly, Mr. Mike's will also have a Dunkin' Donuts in place. I say sadly 'cause that means no more 'customized' breakfasts.

Hey, Theo! How the heck are you?

So.....that would be 2 of us (sorry, Scooter the Dog from Hell has another engagement) and maybe both cars.

Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear.

Johan,

While Mr. Mike's is not an official stop this year, we will be going right by. I'll call you at home when we leave the Keene area and you can do a rolling merge!

Gotta love Mr. Mike's "breakfast bullets".

Sorry to hear that Scooter is finking-out on us; he would have had a very interesting doggie-bag. Contents: valium, muzzle, garlic necklace, wooden stake, crucifix, holy water, smart-looking MOT 'kerchief, etc. If you wish, you can have Scooter chase the sweeper car up to the T&C. Better yet, sent him down to Easthampton and let him hunt for the frigging woodpecker from hell that camps out by our bedroom window on Sunday mornings!

Thumbs up Count us in!

Just made our reservations at T&C. We'll most likely meet up at YC - we're about 30 minutes off exit 22 off I-91. If we don't meet up at YC, we'll meet up at Area 51 (we have family near Dartmouth). Although we'll really want to see Sherry & the Fuzzy One, so we may just have to go to YC!

Sign us up for 2 adults, our baby girl and George, our lab mix.

See y'all then!

Looking forward to seeing how all of you fit in MINI Verde. Chris' quote about events here is still widely quoted.

John, is your house the new official bathroom break? Doesn't Scooter want to meet 40 of your closest friends?

For those heading towards the YC from the Chicago area ( as well as anywhere west of Rochester, NY) I've posted updated information concerning a possible meeting place in the Rochester area in the main MOT thread. Or should it be posted in this thread as we'll end up at the YC??

Can't go wrong if you post it in both.

Paging the Chicago contingent (& those west of Rochester, NY)

I've been in touch with the owner of the Oven Door Bakery in Pittsford, NY who happens to be a MINI owner. She's all in favor of using her place as a gathering point (as previously discussed in the main MOT thread) on June 15 for those coming from the far West and those in the Rochester and surrounding areas before we move on to the Yankee Candle.

The bakery's web page gives information on it's location, but as time approaches I'll provide coordinates for those with a GPS. For general planning it's approximately 75 miles from Buffalo to the bakery and about 315 miles from the bakery to the Red Roof Inn in South Deerfield, Mass, which is right next door to the YC. Highway driving all the way.

Aside from being a great place to grab a tasty treat, this is a good location to meet as there are two gas stations (Mobil & Hess) across the street as well as a small shopping center containing an Eckerd drug store , ATM, pizza place, and a local casual restaurant (Tom Wahl's) who have pretty good hamburgers, sandwitches, etc., plus they make their own root beer.

Also a little ice cream place just up the street, located on the banks of the Erie Canal.

Don't forget...check out the first post in this thread for basic event information, a link to the YC/A51 website for detail info, and the list of current registered MINIs.
