Sorry we missed you guys this year but we got in late Thursday after driving 14 hrs from North Carolina and we were beat. I really wanted to meet up with everyone but driving another 2 1/2 hrs wasn't too appealing at the time. but maybe next year.

Well, it's all a pleasant memory now...

...But I'd be interested in knowing what could be done to make the YC/A51 Caravan experience a better one:

- Were there things that needed adjustment?
- Are there some new ideas we should try?
- How did you like the idea of splitting-up in Lincoln and regrouping at Loon?

I thought it was great to have the option to go on to Loon and regroup rather than having everyone try to squeeze in at the gas station.

The 'nose to tail' parking idea looked great. Any way we can get a picture of that from space?

I thought it worked out great for our Woburn to A51 leg...and then the run from A51 to Lincoln was fun.

I think the idea of letting people split up to get gas, food, drink, WMF parking permits etc and then re-grouping at Loon was a good idea.

I think for next year we ought to consider hiring the aerial photo guy I found (late), I would have to think a) MINI USA or MINI2 would pay the cost as it's great publicity or b) my guess is it would be about $2 pp if we built it into the overall fee...with 250 MINIs.

Even if a) happened, and then people could purchase the picture on their own, maybe that would also work.
