| The Holiday Inn in Hadley is located at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 116. There is also a Howard Johnson's Express there as well. There is a mall and multiplex theatres about 1 mile toward the west and one of the area's best diners is less than a mile away toward the east. To get to YC from either hotel, just take Route 116 north to the intersection with Route 5 (about 20 minutes) and turn right onto Route 5 north. You will then see the Exxon/Mobil station/convenience store on your left, then the Red Roof, then YC all in rapid succession. Let me know if anyone has questions about the local area... | For those joining the western NY caravan to the YC caravan and thinking of staying closer to the gathering point at the Oven Door Bakery, the closest hotel is the Brookwood Inn, located about 1/4 mile from where we'll be meeting up. There's also a Hampton Inn in Victor NY, located a couple of miles off the NY State Thruway and about three miles from the bakery. |

| Welcome to everyone! Last year we had 37 MINIs in the Caravan by the time we left Area 51 for Gorham. We are now 21 in number, so I think we might have a shot at eclipsing last year's numbers! For those of you who are driving a long distance and will need a place to stay in the Western MA area, I will be adding some Western MA Information to the website to help you select lodging and restaurants. The middle of June is a fairly quiet time in this area. The Five Colleges (Smith, UMASS, Amherst, Mt. Holyoke and Hampshire College) have let out and that radically cuts down on traffic and restaurant waiting lines while increasing the availability of lodging. Please let me know if you have any questions about the area. Thanks, Theo "The problem with using quotes from internet sources is that you can never be sure they are authentic." - Abraham Lincoln |

| I think we were all planning on stopping nearer to Erie PA. Is this correct PJ? Maybe this is changed now? We'll discuss via email to finalize where we're staying the first night "So," I said after I'd had enough, "you've ruined it". Chicago MINI Motoring Club | R56 & R53 | PPW 12, MMC 284, TRIP312 | |
