Wheel cover query

The redhead and I are going away for a longish and luxurious weekend. I have 2 sets of chintzy, plastic wheel covers for the snows. One is a matte gray, the other ersatz chrome that spins lights of various colors depending on wheel speed. I'd normally put my fate in the hands of pezboy but.....

So, what do I use for an impressive arrival at this fabulous retreat?

Well if there's going to be anyone there with money, do not have the light up ones. You will be laughed at and probably treated below the other guests. Far better to run understated covers or none at all.

It was acceptable in the 80's

So, is this for on the car, or are you thinking about wearing a set of these yourself? In that case, chrome with lights might really help cover up some dings, if you know what I mean.

I say take the dull ones and have such a great time that everything lights up.

None. Let those posh fancyboys at the retreat know that you're not someone to be trifled with. You're a badass with no hubcaps, and you ain't gonna take no crap.

Go with the lit ones but only if they match the undercarriage neon

NoNo would cook for sure but she's editing this weekend . . . where are her priorities, anyway?

Return to Hudson Bay 2010 (and 2011) . . . not

To close this out, I used the light-up, chromey ones in honor of pezboy, wherever he might be.

Looked cool parked amidst the Land Rovers and other pig monsters.

Well if Maxamini had anything to say about it, he would have recommended the fluorescent orange!
