jeez Derek,I feel yer pain.I had this plague for close to 3 weeks and ultimately had to go on antibiotics to kick it. Fluids and rest............you know the drill. Sorry you couldn't make it yesterday....good times. Jock
A big MAMA thanks to Paul and the rest of MOP crew for putting together such a relaxing, fun, and enjoyable event. Also, thanks to the Ipswich police in their role as a pace car.
We'd love to turn the tables and have you as our guests at Bluberries & BBQ II in July and Come To MAMA IV in October.
Hey, Just in case you’re wondering who got nabbed by Ipswich’s finest; that was me and my three babies on board.
The Sgt. who caught me “claimed” I was doing 51 on a 40. I think I was going a lot faster! I think he was a little more curious to find out what the rally was all about. Anyway, after noticing my ‘unfamiliar with the area’ New Hampshire plates and my three children, he was nice enough to let me go with a verbal warning. What a guy!
Good to know Ipswich's finest were keeping the unlawful at bay. I tired to get a picture of them leading the way as our 'pace car' on the way back to MOP.
Thanks for the fun event, this was our first rally, even though we took a couple of wrong turns, my husband was stressed, but I reminded him it wasn't a race. We met great people and even though we had a suckie hand we ended up with a cool cd case. MoP did a great job organizing the event, looking forward to the next one.
Looks like I missed a great one, but sounds like you were all on good behavior because Mary, the gal from MAW, thought you were all quite nice...
From a note she sent me:
It was quite a crowd you had on Sunday. I never knew that the MINI's had such a following. It was interesting to see how excited everyone was about their car and the Mt. Washington climb!
So far you have raised enough for half a wish...and with 8 weeks to go who knows how much can be raised! Hopefully we can sell some tickets through the Make a Wish foundation itself.
I was glad to help out with the fundraising, and to meet such interesting people. I won't look at a Mini Cooper the same!!!
Mary
Thanks to all!

Hey, if anyone has any pictures of me getting pulled over, please post them or email them to me at Alpuerto@adelphia.net I would appreciate it very much! Thank in advance!
I have a bunch of pics that i don't seem to be able to down load because they "exceed allowable file size" if someone will pm me with an email address , I will send them out if anyone knows how to resize them ,cause I'm just not that savy.
Jock,
What you need is (a) Windows XP - which can resize files - or (b) Irfanview which is a better option to resize files. Or if you're on a Mac, I have no idea!
