I'm sorry to tell you that though I am suffering only a minor backache right now, my MC40 is likely to never motor on earthly roads again. I have posted some detail in this thread on nemini.org. Suffice to say I failed to avoid a tree on a straightaway, and rolled the MINI. Cockpit distraction.

I've had a day off from work, and tomorrow I go back.

What a stupid way to lose a car. How fortunate I was.

I'm glad you are OK, although very sore I'm sure. Maybe go for a GP to replace your MC40, you'll feel better.

I've still got my fingers crossed. Imagine how slow my typing now, John. That tree. One a year, the ambulance medic told me.

Oh John, I'm so sorry!

Get that back checked, damage to soft tissue doesn't show up right away. Most important thing is to take care of yourself. Hugs to you, and I'm really glad you walked away from such a horrible wreck!

On the list for a GP yet?

Just make sure you're OK (x-rays?), then on to think about the next Mini. . Or find a body shop looking for a challenge...

I second what Sherry said. Some injuries don't show up right away so be careful.
Considering it rolled that car held up well.

I'm #2 on the GP list here. What to do til July and onward? I don't think I need another superMINI. I juat may take a solar red silver cooper off the lot.... as far as i can tell.
