I thought it was a good idea (although I still have a bicycle and floor mats), but it might work out better if the parking was closer to other cars.

I think it worked out very well, with perhaps the only problem is many people thought they had to show up at 11 and then we left soon after, so I think many missed it.
Also there's no need to be so strict on boot only. Perhaps allow them an additional 5 feet to set up a table or something else if needed.

I bought some really nice earrings for my wife from Kat...so I was pleased. Like Rob said maybe if it was closer to the wall where the speakers are, as they'd be "shut down" before the speakers start and as Josh mentioned, many folks didn't realize you could show up early....

Not that they didn't realize it (it did say 8-11), but they didn't feel they had to be at loon till 11 so they didn't try to get there any earlier (sleep always wins). If you instead say be there by 10, it would get more people there on time. We had a lot pour in between 10:45 and 11:15/

I don't think many people knew about the boot sale. We were so far away from the other Minis parked. Perhaps there should be a banner above the boot sale area. I sold only one scarf and passed out order sheets. I arrived late from the Bar Harbor Invasion trip --- that may be one reason. More publicity next time, perhaps!
