Got some spare MINI bits and pieces cluttering your garage? Looking for that old style pillar-mounted MINI cup holder? Well, here's your chance to sell/buy that one of a kind item! This year's MINIs on Top will include a Boot Sale at the Loon Mountain gathering on Saturday, June 17th.
A Boot Sale is like a Tag or Garage Sale, but all the items being sold by a single seller must fit in the boot of his/her MINI. This means that no tents, tables, tarps, display boards, signs or other exterior equipment can be used for the sale; items must be displayed entirely in or on the seller's MINI. While a basic MINI theme should prevail for most of the items being sold, other items may be included like books, magazines, crafts, baked goods, and other treasures.
You do not need to register in advance as a Boot Seller. Just arrive at the Loon Lot, show your MOT2006 car tag to the Traffic Control "Guide", and tell her/him that you will be a Seller at the Boot Sale. He/She will direct you to the appropriate Loon Lot entrance where you will be parked with the other Boot Sellers. You should arrive by about 8:00 in the morning at the Loon Lot since the MINIs will be leaving for the Kancamagus and Franconia Notch Drives in the late morning.
You may also continue the Boot Sale in the parking lot of the Auto Road, but a separate Boot Sale area will not be defined there.
Above all, have fun, make friends, and give folks great deals!
Please feel free to post your questions to this thread.

I'll be selling handwoven scarves with "MINI" at each end from my boot. There'll be a limited supply & orders can be taken. Each scarf is one of a kind! One is already donated to the raffle. Think Christmas, when you get a scarf if that day is sweltering hot!
Hmm, I bet the place where the scarf business would be lucrative would be on top of Mt Washington. Except up there it might be important to have a way to Velcro the scarf to your face!
! Good idea to sell at the top, but there's no knowing what the weather will be like...the only problem is that velcro would be destructive to chenille. I know of a way to wrap the scarf around your neck so that it doesn't fly off...remind me to give you a demo!
